Quick Takes Vol. 38

It is back to school week in Bismarck.  The Team is very excited to be heading back to school. The girls will spend 4 months apart in different schools and then be reunited again in January with the opening of a new school in our backyard.

We have spent the summer watching the construction of the school from the comforts of our house.  Check out the progress.

On Monday we had one last day of daycare at home. Anne was able to trap the all the girls in her room for a tea party. She is crazy for "Tea Partee"

Eleanore's bus come first to pick her up at the end of the street. She has been getting on at 7:40 the kids arrive at school around 8 and have lots of time to play before the bell at 8:30.

Theresa's hopped on a different numbered bus then we were Emailed and it didn't come until almost 8. The driver assured me  that he was heading to Moses the school she needed to get to.  She got home the first day over 35 minutes late. I held off calling the transportation office to try to find her. Glad I did turned out the bus circled down a bunch of blocks twice because kids didn't know where to get off.   The next two days she has been home by 3:35.

Picture of both girls, the high on Tuesday was 102 a record setting temp for the first day of school.

Second day of the bus Anne decided to join us on the wait. She couldn't find shoes so I pushed her in her bike but, she wouldn't stay in it while waiting.

Laura had open house for Head Start and is excited for school in Sept.  Anne patiently waited for over an hour to be able to go out and play on the play ground.  She kept screaming "Play Ground, Play Ground" at people in the building.

A playground made for little kids.
