Theresa's Braid

I followed one of the many hair braid pins and found directions for FishTail braid, I didn't pin or even like the pin so I don't have it to reference. This was done May of 2012 and in June Theresa cut her hair to her chin so no more FishTails for her.

Ella's 6th Birthday Cake

For Ella's 6th Birthday she wanted tie dye invites so we had to make a cake to match.  Using Pinterest I found the perfect cake here is the link http://pinterest.com/pin/163818505166026480/ to the pin.

Baked it in the oven and we have success !

Ella did the decorating herself, I do believe if she had kept going with dragging the paintbrush through the gel color it would have looked very similar to the pin.
